Spring/Summer 2023 "Industrial Compositions" Paris Fashion Week Installation

Concept

A site-specific, audiovisual exhibition designed in-house by A-COLD-WALL*’s industrial design team to provide immersive access to the brand universe. Amplified by an original soundscape performed by Kelvin Krash, the two-day presentation connected attributes of static presentation, live performance and installation, debuting a hybrid format that reevaluated traditional modes of display.

An interplay between hand built treatments and technical fabrications.

Dyes, washes, paints and wireframes provided a conduit to merge technical poise with artisanal sensibilities. Sophisticated garment construction undergoing rounds of hand-applied treatments showcased the expressive presence of the artist’s hand and the addition of an atelier prospect to the brand’s output.
