Continuing a legacy of craft through hand-applied treatments, the A-COLD-WALL* Industrial Design Team have worked alongside specialist European facilities to develop four new colourways of the ACW_CNVS Aeon Active CX: Solarised, Carbon, Marine and Redox.

Evolving A-COLD-WALL*’s signature dye programme, designer Samuel Ross continues to blur definitions of old world and new, experimenting with both in order to reveal their creative parallels. Working alongside two storied dye facilities in Italy and the UK, the brand’s in-house Industrial Design Team has devised four intense, season-appropriate colourways for this release: Solarised, Carbon, Marine and Redox.

Once the palettes are specified, dye technicians submerge each piece in colour. No two shoes alike, the finished product embraces a controlled chaos, individualism at this core of the collection’s ethos. To mark the process, a certificate of authenticity accompanies each pair, commemorating this limited run. Recontextualised, the avant-garde ACW* x Converse Aeon Active CX silhouette takes on an unconventional new appearance whilst retaining its commitment to all-day comfort. Converse’s premium CX comfort technology underfoot and lightweight Crater Foam midsole provide breathability and precise cushioning, supported by the Aeon’s signature exaggerated heel kick - its graphic lines intensified in this visual update.
