Colour experimentation at the core of the ACW* design ethos, innovative dye applications continue to play a central role across core collections and collaborative capsules. Returning to 2018, the A-COLD-WALL* x Nike Vomero ushered in a new era of colour development, utilising an intricate garment-dye technique to produce an intense chromatic depth. Working alongside two storied dye facilities in Italy and the UK, the A-COLD-WALL* Industrial Design Team devised a duo of hand crafted colour treatments adding fresh complexity to this radical silhouette.

Industrial shades define the Solarised Vomero, contrasting hues of rust, clay, ivory and copper make reference to metallics and minerals, calling back to key ACW* themes and tones.

Taking a deep shade of red as a starting point, Redox emerges in shades of crimson, vermillion and soft pink. A departure from ACW*’s solid primary palette, each individual component of the shoe is saturated at a different level

A never-released prototype, the Marine colourway tapped into an ACW* signature shade. House Blue diluted and dissolved, a new expression of a familiar colourway found across ACW* collections and store architecture.
